The Stolen Thief (The Thief Chronicles Book 2)
About
A master thief.
A shadow organization.
Two men—one from her past and one bound to her soul.
Caitlyn is the best at what she does, a master thief a who's slipped through through time to stay one step ahead of the organization that refuses to stop hunting her. She barely escaped their control once, but freedom came at a cost.
When her new power turns against her, burning through her strength, the only person who might be able to save her is Xavier, the young Shifter whose bond with her runs deeper than either of them fully understands. Desperate for answers and running out of time, Caitlyn seeks him out—not just to survive, but to fight back.
Together, they move to reclaim what the organization stole, joined by Aiden, the Assassin once sent to terminate her and first love, and the man she saved by erasing herself from his memory.
But vengeance isn’t simple. Along the way, Caitlyn forms unexpected alliances, discovers new abilities, and learns that love is far more dangerous than any mission. Especially when it binds her to one man, and tears her apart for another.
Power made her a weapon. Love makes her unstoppable. In a world that weaponizes loyalty, choosing who to trust may be the most dangerous heist of all.
Praise for this book
Someone check my pulse because K.A. Masterson has officially RUINED me. 💀
I just closed The Stolen Thief this afternoon and I’m literally reeling. I need the next book in the series STAT—K.A. Masterson, please have mercy on my soul! This was a total page-turner that refuses to let you go, and the author does an amazing job of keeping the story moving at a pace that has you constantly on edge.
We’re back with Caitlyn, our favorite Master Thief, who has been "procured" by a secret organization that wants her solely for her unique abilities. They are definitely not the type to take "no" for an answer, but luckily for us, she has some help on her side to keep things interesting.
Let’s talk about the romance because... WOW. 🥵
While Aiden was the focus of book one, book two introduces us to Xavier—and hello, 😍! I’m already calling it: I need him to be endgame. The love triangle gets so much more intense in this installment, and the slow burn between the characters is absolutely unreal. It’s a completely different dynamic and romance than what we saw with Aiden in the first book. Honestly, if you lived for the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob drama in Twilight, you are going to be obsessed with the tension here!
My Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐
I actually think I might have liked this one even more than the first (which is saying a lot!). I did spot a few grammar hiccups while reading, but since this was an ARC, I’m sure those are being ironed out for the final release.
I officially cannot wait to see what happens in the next book. K.A. Masterson, I’m waiting!! 📖✨
